My interest in Art/ Studio Art
I love everything about art. I see art in every aspect of our world. I want to understand the history of art around the world and how it is influenced. I admire ceramic pieces and the work that goes into interior and exterior spaces. Art often is forgotten or pushed off as nothing, but I see how our world is built of art in many different ways. I want to create and be a part of bringing little bits of art into different societies. I love designing spaces, artwork, and digital cites, really anything that I can bring fun and beautiful styles to life.
Artists that inspire me
Flora Yukhnovich is one artist that has been inspirational for me because of how her pieces are abstract but I understand the meaning so well, along with the fact that her colors blend seamlessly. I can see exactly what she was trying to express through her abstract style. Her work inspires me to have a more abstract way of looking at what I am creating, influencing a more unique style in my art. The piece that I first saw by Flora was Lipstick, Lip Gloss, Hickeys Too. I'm inspired by the detail in her description of her painting as well as how I can quote on quote see realistic pictures within her abstract work. Her work influences me to have more flow in my work and explore more with my abstraction. Flora not only inspires me with painting but also with bringing a more natural style in my 3D pieces. Another artist who inspires me is Vincent Van Gogh, a very cliche artist to say, but he was the start of my journey of wanting to explore more artists. Van Gogh's art brings me so much joy. I love how he painted the mundane but made it special with his style. His work inspired me to find more impressionist painters and see how I can transform something simple and boring into a colorful landscape. I learned so much about using abstraction to create unique images. Van Gogh is a very well known name but was the first artist that stood out to me. His creative outlook on the world changed how I saw colors; which led me to experiment more with colors in unusual areas of paintings. Without Vincent Van Gogh I would not be interested in learning about the history of art along with the different ways you can express yourself through the many mediums available and styles to try out.
